Things have been real busy this spring at My Weed Barn!
Spring planting season in the New London, Virginia area has been busy for the local weed farmers. Our great new store Peaks View Hydro has been busy helping my local farmer friend a bunch! There is also a new store on Timberlake Road that I haven’t had time to visit yet!
The local gardens are looking great!
I’m working on photos to show how things are growing but I just haven’t had time to work with the pictures. My local farmer friend has been sharing his vast knowledge of life and growing up on a Tobacco farm in Southside Virginia. Stories about how his Daddy and brothers would get up early and work the farm! Hard Work!
The wisdom and advice from my local farmer friend has been awesome. I’ll share some pictures soon so you can see the four strains that are going to be featured in this blog.

These are all different strains and I love learning about the many aspects of growing them. I’m learning just like most of the new farmers in Virginia, however, basic growing of things like Roses over the years seems to have a lot of similar things going on.
