This past summer, sometime around July, my local farmer friend showed me a new kind of bag that he had purchased from our local retail store, Peaks View Hydro, in New London, Virginia. He explained how good they were for curing your weed and keeping it fresh. Wow, thats really something I thought.
I began reading more about Grove Bags online and thought I would try some. I set up an account for MyWeedBarn.com and ordered 1 or 2 of a bunch of different bags so I could see more about them. The various sizes of bags from the 1/8 oz size and up with windows are great for everyday use while I see some of the other fancier bags being great for your personal stash! My personal favorite is the green CannaMuseum bag since it is a really great horizontal bag with the wide horizontal opening for my fat fingers and being able to put in a fat bud without messing it up. (Some of the everyday black bags like the 1/4 oz are stand up vertical with a short opening and a little tricky getting your fingers and bud in to show through the window the way you might like). The 1/8 oz size bag is my second favorite bag since you can get your fingers in it and its just right to hold a little to keep in your shirt pocket or wherever.
When I went to CannaCon in Richmond recently, I met my awesome salesman, Mr. Noah Zwick, Northeast Sales Manager for Grove Bags. I showed him how the 1/8 oz size bag sealed and folded in half in the direction of the seal makes a great folded pack (fold window in, black out to help keep out light), and a personal wooden dug-out style box to put a pack in would be a cool thing to have to put the pack in (future product maybe?). I also showed Noah the cool new labels from Epson Label Works that I find to be an incredible way to keep your personal stash straight. After a while different jars and bags and old timey film canisters etc etc. get confusing. With Grove bags most of these containers can probably go away! I do find that sometimes a few days in a jar or a an old timey thick paper grocery bag doubled up to dry up a little before putting into a bigger Grove Bag for what a nearby factory that makes milk products calls “processing”. Go ahead and laugh all you weed people that have all the been there and done that t-shirts. Here in Virginia we have our own way of describing things. Like keeping it simple.

I also love my small Mason Jars and an old school trick is slide the jar into a black sock and tie a knot in the sock. keep your stash strains separate and the glass won’t rattle with the sock and the sock keeps out the light. Good for if you don’t have a grove bag yet. But you will want to get some Grove Bags!
